We have loved St Ives ever since our first holiday together here many years ago. Even as teenagers we loved this beautiful town and laid back lifestyle.

Our work as television graphic designers took us firstly to Birmingham followed by a ten year stint in London. Meanwhile we purchased and renovated a little cottage in St Ives and visited as often as possible before following our hearts to Cornwall. In 2006 we eventually managed to fulfill our dream and make the move to St Ives.

Having moved here we designed and built a house for ourselves (plus our two dogs) and our B&B business that we enjoyed running for six years. With the addition of three children we now manage and look after several holiday properties in St Ives.

The Loft is a very special property in Downalong, the greatest of locations just paces from Porthmeor beach and pretty much surrounded by sea, harbour and beautiful beaches.

We personally look after the cottage with great care and attention so that everything is perfect for our guests. From our time working in hospitality we know how important it is to have that personal touch, and we liaise directly with our guests from booking to departure. We always listen to feedback and we act on it.

And we still absolutely love St Ives as much as we did on that very first trip!
